Job description

Hire Resolve's client, a renowned CPA Firm, is seeking an Audit Manager to join their team with Governmental Audits. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing audit activities within the organization. You will lead a team of auditors, develop audit plans, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with government regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement audit plans and programs
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential non-compliance
• Manage and supervise a team of auditors
• Review and evaluate financial records and accounting systems
• Identify deficiencies and recommend improvements in internal controls
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and internal policies
• Provide guidance and training to audit staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, preferably in a government or public sector environment
• Strong knowledge of government regulations and internal controls
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and high ethical standards
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
