$/hr minimum - $/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)
Responsible for providing nuclear medicine imaging services.
- Safety
- Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.
- Record Keeping
- Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files , schedules, status changes, payroll and other documents as required.
- Process Improvement
- Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating in unit/department based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals.
- Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams as needed.
- Role Specific Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations.
- Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintains equipment.
- Ensures radioactive material is properly received, stored, inventoried and disposal.
- Verifies patient information.
- Lead: Coordinates duty assignments to nuclear medicine technologists.
- Lead: Performs and maintains Nuclear Medicine Quality Control activities.
- Lead: Serves as a Radiation Safety Officer.
Education
- Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine
Licenses and Certification
Experience and Skills
- Technical Experience: 1 year
- Lead: 5 years
