Our client has an immediate opening in the Coral Gables for a Legal Assistant  for its community association law practice. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have strong written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a group setting. Job Duties:

• Provide administrative support to two or more lawyers.
• Draft letters, meeting packages and contracts.
• Answer phone calls, take messages and redirect calls when appropriate. 
• Keep cases organized by maintaining files and data management.
• Maintain regular communication with supervising attorneys.
• Keep clients informed and communicating case progress. 
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with a “can do” positive attitude.

Requirements:

• Must have strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software, if needed. Knowledge of PerfectLaw DMS a plus.
• Must have experience with MS Office 
• Must have proficiency in English
• Must have outstanding time-management and typing skills
• Must have the following: Legal Administration Skills, Client Relationships, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Dependability, Client Confidentiality.
• Real Estate experience is a plus
• HOA/Condo experience is a plus
