Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Inpatient Neuro/Medical in Morristown, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our Neuro/Medical Team located on Kahn 5 at Morristown Medical Center. This position is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, with no weekend or call responsibilities. We are seeking an individual who excels in collaboration, demonstrating effective communication skills with patients, physicians, and peers.

As a Neuro/Medical Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role, dedicating 30% of your time to clinical responsibilities, which include patient rounds and providing support to the inpatient neurology unit on Kahn 5. Additionally, you will contribute 70% of your efforts on administrative tasks. These include, but are not limited to, involvement in Quality Improvement (QI) metric projects, participation in research initiatives, and active engagement in patient education and community outreach.   

Qualifications

• Bachelors & Master’s degree required
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS required
• 3-5 years of acute RN experience preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
