Job description
BCM One is looking for an experienced Director of Product with a robust background in product and telecommunications specifically. This role will lead and manage our product strategy, roadmap and execution for SkySwitch, which is the #1 white-label UcaaS provider. As the Director of Product for SkySwitch, you will work cross-functionally to define the product vision and roadmap, manage resource planning with Leaders, partner with tech and business teams to execute the roadmap, and drive our product transformation. You will also work with a wide range of product teams focusing on both the SkySwitch and CoreDial platforms to drive the collaborative thinking of a holistic app experience for our clients. You will leverage research, data, and metrics to understand our Partners and their customers and make critical product decisions/tradeoffs.
The ideal candidate is passionate about users, has experience working in communications and mobile apps, and has worked closely with design and data teams to build products.
Work Locations:
This role can work 100% remotely. If you are near one of the following office locations, you can also work in a hybrid environment: Grand Rapids, Michigan, Herndon, Virginia, Alpharetta, Georgia, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, or New York, New York. This role must be based in the USA; it is not eligbile for sponsorship or relocation.

Standard Eastern US business hours
Travel:
This role will travel with notice, as needed, for client meetings, conferences, etc. Approximately less than 25% annually.
What You Will Do:
- Develop a deep understanding of the white label UcaaS market and SkySwitch's competitive landscape.
- Create a product vision for SkySwitch by conducting market research, user interviews, and data analysis.
- Define a product roadmap based on user feedback,market research,and business goals.
- Work closely with engineering leadership on resource planning.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales on the product marketing strategy.
- Work closely with the design team to develop mockups and conduct user research.
- Work with data team to understand key user/business metrics and define measurement for individual projects.
- Lead executive updates and stakeholder meetings.
- Write concise product requirements and summaries for new feature releases.
- Develop strong partnerships with both product and business teams.
- Lead group meetings to make key decisions, remove obstacles, and raise risks ensuring business goals are met and support the strategic vision of each associated product.
- Other responsibilities as required.
What You Will Need:
- 7+ years of product management experience.
- Experience in the telecommunications/communications industry is required.
- Experience building a mobile app that was successfully launched in the market.
- Experience setting and driving the big picture strategy for a cross-functional team, while also providing detailed guidance on individual projects.
- Proficient with common product design and management frameworks.
- Organized, collaborative and flexible, able to work calmly and professionally under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Logical problem solver and decision maker with strong attention to details and clear assessment of tradeoffs.
- Listens well to stakeholders and business owners while remaining focused on finding a path to delivering high quality products that will delight users.
- Analytical,with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Functions well in an agile environment.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience working in communications, mobile apps, or ecommerce is a plus.
- A degree in a technical or quantitative major is a plus.
