WHAT YOU WILL DO

Flexware Innovation is seeking a Business Intelligence Architect to join and help lead our BI Team. The BI Architect is responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and implementing data warehouse information delivery systems for Flexware clients. Specifically, your duties will include interacting with various business groups to help define needs, translating those needs into customized solutions, and working with Flexware’s group of BI Developers to deliver long term value to our clients. In order to achieve success, you will need to partner with Flexware’s clients by working within their frameworks, or by customizing and delivering solutions that are best suited for the client’s needs.

This position will:

• Research and evaluate potential technology solutions that meet business needs for Flexware clients
• Conduct and lead white boarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings as needed with exceptional communication skills.
• Define technical project parameters and architect solutions that will solve complex data management and transformation platforms
• Architect, design, and implement end-to-end BI solutions
• Ensure best practices and standards are met for each individual client
• Work within a team environment to lead, design, and implement projects
• Ability to lead Flexware BI team and help grow current developers through coaching and mentoring
• Work with and collaborate with Business Intelligence Architect to ensure data is accurate for reports
• Provide support and troubleshoot issues as they arise with reports and dashboards
• Redesign and manage integrations between Kimble, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and other systems as needed
• Work with business units to standardize and improve data integrity and metric utilization
• Work with different teams to understand data needs and provide proper reports and dashboards
• Assist with miscellaneous projects associated with data and needs of the business
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE DONE BEFORE

Flexdogs are a rare breed . They come from varied backgrounds, but typically have some of the following traits:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence including experience in data analysis, database design, database programming, and database schema design
• Experience creating and maintaining reports and dashboards in PowerBI (highly preferred) or other tools such as Tableau, Qlik, etc.
• Experience with Data Warehouses and building multi-dimensional cubes and tabular models
• Worked with Internal Customers to deliver reports
• Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence tools such as MS SQL Server, MS SQL databases, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, as well as other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, etc.
• Experience working with different business units to understand their data needs in order to create reports and dashboards
• Experience with different systems integrations and understand of how data interacts with different systems
• Exceptional verbal and communication skills
