Job Description:
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for system design for electric and hybrid vehicle applications. As part of a team, he/she will also be involved in system integration and validation of high voltage powertrain systems.
Job Description:
System architecture design for electric/hybrid vehicle to meet the functional performance and safety requirements.
Integration of the systems element, system validation, and reporting.
Work with the electrical hardware, controls, software, and mechanical engineering teams to define and implement optimal and practical systems.
Preparing system DFMEA
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in power electronics or electrical engineering, with more than 4 years of industry experience with system engineering for electric or hybrid vehicle applications.
Experience in powertrain integration, high voltage system integration, and Validation for electric or hybrid vehicles.
Strong experience with power electronics for electric and/or hybrid vehicles
Good experience in using CAN tools and analysis and debugging of CAN messaging.
Experience with DFMEA and failure analysis.
Experience with power electronic inverter, battery management system (BMS), onboard and offboard EV chargers, master ECU.
Understanding of hardware/circuit design concept
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong team player and good interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel internationally and domestic and support field issues analysis.
