Construction Project Manager

Job description
Sunchase Construction is seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to grow with the company. The Project Manager is responsible for the daily operations of assigned construction tasks and projects, coordinating subcontractors, ordering materials, managing job schedules, managing job budgets, and invoices. The Project Manager is expected to lead the project from start to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage subcontractors, vendor deliveries, and building inspections within a predetermined time frame with high quality and great attention to detail.
- Manage projects efficiently and maintain costs to hit target profit goals.
- Maintain job cleanliness and safe work sites for subcontractors, ensuring that all sites are compliant with OSHA guidelines.
- Oversee compliance with current building code on all projects, including scheduling inspections and requesting permits for construction activities, when required.
- Ensure all documentation is recorded and current.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills within a team environment; to include project stakeholders, trade partners, owners, clients, inspections, vendors, and project engineers.
- Solve issues that arise to elevate project performance, while eliminating project constraints and roadblocks.
Qualifications:
- Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
- Familiarity with construction project management software is highly valued
- Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- PMP certification is a plus
