Job description
The Good King Tavern is seeking a cook to join the team! TGK has serviced the Bella Vista neighborhood since 2013 offering a fun, innovative, french inspired menu with a best in class beverage program. In 2019, father-daughter duo Bernard & Chloe Grigri expanded vertically to open their James Beard nominated upstairs wine bar, le Caveau. Today, the group is run by family and long-time employees, under the culinary direction of Chef Michael Valent. Michael joins us following stints at Zahav, and award winning Cochon (New Orleans).
The Good King Tavern is the perfect space for a cook to live and learn authentic French bistro food (charcuterie, classics etc.) and make some really good friends. Experience with French cooking is not a prerequisite, but some kitchen experience is necessary. All levels apply; willing to teach the right candidate. Join us!
