Job description
The Hotel Salem in Salem, MA is seeking an experienced and dedicated Manager to join our dynamic and vibrant property. We are looking for someone who is as comfortable stirring up a cocktail at the bar as they are checking in a hotel guest, or performing a property audit. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the hospitality industry and looking to grow with exciting company. As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our hotel and restaurants. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of service. Responsibilities:
- Provide memorable experiences to all guests
- Be able to manager the day to day operations of both the restaurants and hotel
- Admin responsibilities including payroll, invoice processing, audits of PMS and POS systems
- Teach and develop team members
- Assist in the planning an execution of events including corporate and weddings
- Assist in directing building maintenance in adherence to budget and capital projects
Qualifications:
- 2 years of management experience preferably in a hotel or full service restaurant
- History of achieving and exceeding personal and professional goals
- Experience working within the goals of a team
- General computer proficiency
- Desire to grow within the hospitality sector
