Primary Responsibilities:

As the Business Development Manager, this position is responsible for identifying and developing new business in your territory. In addition, educate customers on products and programs available through Performance Foodservice. The incumbent will demonstrate the ability to influence, provide a unique perspective, engage with customers, and link their priorities to our value proposition while understanding the competitive landscape. A successful candidate should possess strong attention to detail, critical thinking, communication skills, and a drive to win.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in wholesale, retail convenience or grocery distribution preferred

Sales professional with experience and track record of growing market share

Basic to intermediate abilities with Microsoft Office Suite

High comfort level in learning internal computer systems

Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone, in person, and in writing

Strong presentation skills

Exceptional organizational and customer service skills

Experience working well independently

Must own a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
