Salary Information Department Summary
The Computer Science and Engineering department is home to 11 Professors, 11 Associate Professors, 13 Assistant Professors, 20 Clinical faculty, 5 Lecturers, over 150 Ph.D. students, over 1,500 Master's students, and over 1,000 undergraduate students.
In our ten programs we offer the following accredited degrees:

Position Summary
The University of North Texas (UNT), a Tier 1 Research Institution (Carnegie Classification as a Doctoral University: Highest Research Activity), invites applications for non-tenure track Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor positions in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) starting Spring 2024. Preference for Spring hire, however consideration may be extended to fall.
The Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor will teach undergraduate and graduate level Computer Science and Engineering courses ranging from introductory and foundational level to more advanced and specialized topics. Additional expectations include curriculum development, participating in departmental activities, and providing career guidance to graduate and undergraduate students.
We anticipate several Clinical Assistant / Clinical Associate Professor openings. As openings arise, we will actively source candidates from this applicant pool.
An offer of employment for this position will be made dependent upon available funding.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a M.S. degree in computer science or a closely related field and teaching experience in higher education.
