Production Material Coordinator

Job description
Piedmont Aviation Component Services is looking for a qualified Production Material Coordinator . This position will collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials, prepare an efficient schedule, and evaluate all production schedules to determine all required materials to ensure availability of all materials. Oversees the operation to ensure that all the right goods, documents, and/or products are available and serving their proper function.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials from Stores to production.
- Requests material and establishes sequential delivery dates to production, according to job order priorities.
- Examines material delivered to production to verify conformance to customer specifications.
- Examines Return to Service Tag (8130) to verify it is completed correctly and that customer accepts condition, DER or PMA
- Compiles records by module.
- Computes the amount of material required to complete job orders.
- Move or transport materials to production.
- Assist with the assembly of APUs when needed.
- Certify piece parts.
- Turn in TAT Trading parts to stockroom for visibility and use.
- Receive parts in supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by any supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED minimum.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical required.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and discretion.
- Intermediate computer skills preferred.
- Read and adhere to verbal and written instructions in English.
- Work with people and communicate (both oral and written communication) with other personnel and management effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to shop conditions typical of an industrial operation.
- This job requires entry into industrial areas where machinery, hand tools, and chemicals are in use.
- The incumbent must abide by safety regulations required in these areas, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- In some areas, noise levels are higher than the typical shop environment.
- Most responsibilities are in normal industrial setting some confined space responsibilities may exist.
- Air quality standards are met, and often exceeded, some exposure to dust and fumes will be encountered.
