Title: Senior Project Manager - Wastewater Engineering (Remote)

Location: Remote (Position open to candidates nationwide)

We are seeking an experienced Remote Wastewater Engineer to join our Water Environment Group (WEG) as a Senior Engineer and Project Manager. With over a decade of industry expertise, you'll play a crucial role in the marketing, study, and design of wastewater collection and treatment system projects. We're looking for a detail-oriented collaborator who excels in remote work environments and prioritizes client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Manage wastewater treatment study and design projects
Oversee sanitary sewer evaluation and master planning projects
Ensure quality control for field data collection and analysis
Supervise projects involving hydraulic and treatment process computer modeling
Prepare comprehensive reports
Lead the design of wastewater projects and conduct quality control reviews
Coordinate construction observation services
Mentor junior staff members
Assist in project pursuits and proposal preparation
Support group scheduling and planning efforts
Fulfill other assigned duties

Essential Functions:

Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
Manage wastewater projects comprehensively, encompassing treatment, lift stations, sanitary sewer flow monitoring, field data collection, modeling, and system rehabilitation design
Aid in the management of sewer rehabilitation design and construction projects
Work seamlessly on projects across multiple WEG offices
Cultivate additional opportunities with both new and existing clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; PE certification in the States of Kansas, Missouri, or Texas preferred
Proficiency in wastewater treatment process and plant design, encompassing primary, secondary, and tertiary systems, as well as biological nutrient removal processes and chemical feed systems
Exceptional client management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Travel:

Occasional local day and overnight travel may be required for this position.
