The Production Supervisor will oversee manufacturing processes and personnel to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Responsibilities will include scheduling, training, monitoring workflow, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Duties :

• Supervise assembly and manufacturing staff to produce manufactured products and machines; organize and monitor workflow.
• Accomplish production results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting process variables, monitoring personnel and resources, developing reporting procedures and systems, and facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
• Provide production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment, resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Detect and address issues regarding safety, efficiency, and team dynamics as necessary.
• Mentor and train new employees to LSINC on safety, production processes, tools and machinery, and products.
• Ensure manufacturing and assembly teams have all necessary raw materials and equipment necessary to perform assigned duties.
• Ensure the most efficient and best use of employees' time, skills, and knowledge by observing and distributing work in the best way possible.
• Answer production, safety, and team questions as they occur.
• Act as liaison between manufacturing, assembly, and quality control.
• Ensure production downtime is kept to a minimum.

• Machining and Assembly Employees

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on concrete floor.
• Ability to talk and hear in production environment.

Work Environment :

• Requires constant time in a production environment, featuring loud machinery, tools, and equipment.

Education and Experience :

• 2+ years' experience as a production supervisor required.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
