Job description
Our Design Operations team is looking for an experienced Manager to oversee learning, engagement, and communications programs for our Product, Design and Marketing organization within Apple Services. This role will directly lead a small team, with responsibility for a portfolio of employee experience programs aimed at engaging and retaining the best and brightest creative talent. In this role, you will heavily collaborate with leaders across the organization, and our partner teams in Recruiting, HR, and Learning & Development. Together with your team, you will strategize, execute and implement programs that inform, inspire, connect our people to our purpose, and elevate the employee experience.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct people management experience, as part of a creative organization
- 5+ years of program management experience, with a portfolio of programs delivered in the hiring, learning, talent planning, employee engagement, and/or internal comms spaces
- Relentless curiosity and appreciation for how creative teams work and what they need to thrive
- Experience crafting program strategies and delivering program content across a range of platforms to globally distributed teams
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to drive action with stakeholders across all levels
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to gain alignment on program objectives and priorities with senior leaders
- Strong Keynote presentation building skills and an eye for good design
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Proficient in Numbers, Pages; skilled in Slack, Quip; and experience using project management tools.
- Some travel (~10%) will be necessary between our studios in Cupertino, Culver City, New York, and London

The Manager for Learning, Engagement & Communications Programs will directly lead a small team that's augmented by contractor/vendor support as needed. They will develop deep, productive relationships with our organization’s leadership and cross-functional partners. They'll stay tapped into Apple’s network of learning & engagement communities, identifying opportunities to leverage existing resources. This manager will drive the strategy through the implementation of people-focused programs for our organization. They will lead the development, preparation, and messaging for organization-wide communications and Town Halls. They're responsible for facilitating strategic discussions to identify, assess, and gain buy-in on program opportunities. This manager will ensure processes and resources are in place for the effective delivery of programs. They'll implement methods of collecting feedback and measuring the results of your team’s portfolio of programs. They will need to apply learnings to continuously iterate, pivot, and improve our programs and practices, as well as scale and extend programs across studios to meet the ongoing needs of a growing organization. They'll be in charge of program communication and amplification in the form of newsletters, status updates, leadership presentations and more.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,400.00 and $260,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
