JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Global Recovery Planning Manager - Vice President to join the Global Recovery and Treasury Resolution team. This team is responsible for planning, managing and ensuring quality control of the Global Recovery Plan and regional Recovery plans and the Global Treasury Resolution content and deliverables. 

As a Global Recovery Planning Manager - Vice President within the Global Recovery and Treasury Resolution team at JPMorgan Chase, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and ensuring quality control of the Global Recovery Plan and regional Recovery plans. You will also handle the Global Treasury Resolution content and deliverables. Your role is crucial in demonstrating how the firm would recover in the event of a severe crisis event and how it would be resolved in an orderly way if bankruptcy occurs. This role provides an opportunity to work on a strategic priority for the firm and to navigate regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Track and manage Recovery and Resolution program deliverables and provide direction to project teams in the Recovery program, both Firmwide and Regional, in order to meet project objectives.
• Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements to be addressed in each submission from U.S. and foreign regulators.
• Coach and clarify assignments and deliverables; mentor others in project management practices; review quality of work and manage integration of project deliverables.
• Communicate clear vision of the project’s objectives to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members. Assist with management presentations.
• Analyze risks and issues, establish contingency plans, identify trigger events, and advise on mitigating actions.
• Create, manage, and update program-level schedule in a complex project environment.
• Perform critical path analysis and aid work streams to develop timelines for completion of activities; ensure management keeps informed of impacts to project schedule.
• Track and report on deliverables and the progress of the plan. Analyze performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives. Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with project teams.
• Effectively coordinate the activities of the team to meet project milestones.
• Interface with team members to ensure implementation of standards, processes and support services.
• Oversee BAU appendix cycle for Resolution.

 

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

• 5+ years of experience in using formal project management methodology, techniques, and tools.
• Experience delivering programs/projects with multiple work streams.
• Knowledge of and competency in project management process, including planning tasks, allocating resources, risk management, issues management, change management, working in teams, monitoring and reporting, documentation and record keeping.
• Knowledge and experience using financial securities and products, specifically related to investment banking, trading, derivatives, as well as treasury functions.
• Experience or familiarity with development of a Resolution and Recovery Plan or another similar regulatory initiative.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills; attention to detail imperative.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as schedule, status reports, communication plans, issues, risk mitigation and milestone/deliverable charts.
• Ability to build strong relationships with senior management from different lines of business throughout the firm.
• Strong qualitative analytical skills
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Bachelors' degree is required.
