Job description

Plumbers Supply Co, a family-owned business celebrating 103 years in 2024, has an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to work with our Receiving Team at our branch in Evansville. As a member of the Receiving team, you will be responsible for receiving shipments, verifying contents are correct and not damaged, and stocking inventory in the appropriate place.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 1st Shift (with possible required overtime)(hrs can be subject to change).

Other Responsibilities Include but are not limited to :

• Helping team members maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that is safe & accessible for salespeople, customer traffic and employees.
• Maneuvering heavy equipment using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• At Least 1 year of prior Warehouse Experience
• Forklift Experience Required (Combilift, Order Picker, Stock Chaser and/or Turret Truck)
• Customer Service Focused
• Dependable Attendance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Attentive to Detail
• Motivated to Train & Learn
• Stamina to Stand & Walk for entire shift
• Computer Proficient
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. The candidate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance.
• Regularly push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, squat, bend, twist, grab and reach above the shoulders.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
• Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Background Check
