Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical and psychological assessments and developing or following a treatment plan.
- Advising on adaptive equipment to help patients with daily activities.
- Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills.
- Educating caregivers and family members on patient care.
- Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy.
- Complying with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
- Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.
Documents required
- The Occupational Therapist(s) must have a license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy
- The Occupational Therapist(s) must be registered with the National Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- The Occupational Therapist(s) must have a Master's Degree or higher in occupational therapy
- The Occupational Therapist(s) must have one-year experience working with children with additional disabilities
- The Occupational Therapist(s) will have completion of a minimum of six (6) months of supervised Occupational Therapy fieldwork.
