Entry-Level Survey Field Technician

Summary

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Survey Field Technician. The successful candidate will assist in conducting field surveys, collecting data, and supporting various surveying activities under the guidance of experienced professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of civil engineering and surveying.

Job Responsibilities

- Participate in field surveys including boundary, topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys

- Perform measurements and collect accurate data in accordance with established survey procedures

- Conduct on-site surveys to collect accurate and detailed data using surveying instruments and tools, including total stations, GPS equipment, and levels

- Support field crews by clearing vegetation, setting up targets, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with industry standards and regulations

- High school diploma or equivalent

- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided

- Basic understanding of surveying principles and equipment is desirable

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform fieldwork in various conditions

- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the field of surveying

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
