Position Summary:
As a Medical Assistant on our family practice, you will prepare patients for examinations, take medical history, explain treatment procedures as directed, collect and prepare lab specimens and medications, and assist physician during examinations. This position will provide quality care to the patients of our community ranging from infancy to geriatric with a variety medical needs including annual wellness visits, sick visits, follow ups, and well adult and baby visits.
Work Schedule: Mon.-Thurs. 8a-5p, Fri. 8a-12p
Required Education: High school diploma or GED is required
Required Certification:* Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant Must have current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS with 30 days of hire
1 year of experience in a orthopedic clinic is preferred
