Shipping Manufacturing Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced shipping tech to join our shipping department team. In this role, you will ensure that projects are staged for installation, crated for shipping, or ready for customer pickup. You will support the shipping team by loading and unloading shipments, operating a forklift, receiving, and stocking material, moving jobs in and out of QC, assisting with assembling signs and sign components, bagging, tagging, packing, and crating work orders, and pulling and coordinating hardware for installation.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in a shipping and handling capacity.

- Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.

- knowledge of shipping materials, tools, and equipment.

- Time management and organizational skills to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Safety-conscious with expertise in safe handling and disposal of chemicals, adhesives & all hazardous materials.

- Excellent organizational skills to manage work orders and maintain an orderly workspace.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in Electrical or structural fabrication is a plus.

- Familiarity with inventory management and tracking systems.

- Ability to interpret design drawings and blueprints accurately.
