(Physician/MD qualifications required) Neurology - Neurology job in Eastern North Carolina
Medical group located in Eastern North Carolina is seeking B|C or B|E Neurologists to join their expanding Neuroscience Program in an outpatient neurology practice. Candidates with subspecialty interest or fellowship training in Movement Disorder, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular, Headache, or MS are encouraged to apply.
Highlights include:
-Opportunities exist for outpatient only or an inpatient|outpatient combination
-The existing neuroscience team consists of 8 neurosurgeons, including 2 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neuro-oncologist, stroke neurohospitalists, neurologists, neurointensivists, and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
-Monday Friday schedule for outpatient, practice call only
-For sub-specialties, 25% general neurology and 75% sub-specialty when fully staffed
-The Medical Center is home to a newly expanded 24-bed NSICU led by Neurointensivist as well as a large rehab center providing both inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients
