TITLE: Implementation Specialist/ Master Data Administrator.
NON-EXEMPT.
REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing & Customer Service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This role is responsible for Master Data Management in the ERP system, Sharepoint and Teklynx/Labelview programs. This role will coordinate and assist with implementation and validation of new ERP modules/integrations, ensuring data integrity. This role will extract ERP information in the form of queries and validate data accuracy to improve the effectiveness/efficiency of the organization The ability to establish a rapport and foster open communication with employees will be a critical factor for success in this position. Escalation of issues to appropriate individuals may be required for some issues.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and manage query/ERP data needs of the management team including monthly reports, metrics, and month-end financial closing requirements.
- Create and maintain master data records in MAPICS/INFOR ERP system.
- Analyze ERP master data for quality, completeness and accuracy/consistency of entry on a regular basis.
- Coordinate ERP/Data related solutions/projects across functional teams; review and recommend software solutions that will enable improved efficiency for the organization; assist in integration with existing software for effective implementation.
- Oversee the SharePoint platform, managing permissions, workflows & document libraries; training users; suggesting improvements for workplace efficiency.
- Create and maintain master data records and templates in Labelview/Teklynx software.
- Develop, monitor and enforce data management policies and procedures to ensure security and integrity of data.
- Provide user instructions/guidance for employee-facing databases to ensure user adoption, troubleshoot and train as needed.
- Facilitate resolution of user tickets regarding ERP/Database/Reporting systems issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, Business or Analytics is required. Proven relevant experience of two or more years. Demonstrated skill with database management/maintenance of ERP system, preferably MAPICS or Infor. Advanced knowledge of current Windows client operating systems and SharePoint. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and ability to identify needs of cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of urgency. Positive attitude with a high level of accountability, personal drive, ambition, integrity. Desire to identify and propose opportunities for improvement using ERP and computer software. Strong attention to detail. Understands how own work contributes to the larger processes within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, Business or Analytics field is required. Proven relevant experience of two or more years. Advanced knowledge of current Windows client operating systems. Transactional execution within ERP system along with data gathering, cleansing and analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills in conjunction with excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of urgency. Positive attitude with a high level of accountability, personal drive, ambition, integrity. Understands how own work contributes to the larger processes within the organization.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Individual’s daily routine will consist mostly of technical, administrative work with occasional exposure to the manufacturing environment, which may have some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, and atmospheric conditions. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including a respirator, must be worn in designated areas.
- Individual must possess the ability to perform light physical activity, which includes occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, sitting, manual dexterity, repetitive hand, and finger motion.
