We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Strategic Communications team to lead the redesign of Seller News and up-level our messaging to inform and inspire our Selling Partners.
The Sr. Product Manager will own the Seller News product, a primary communication channel to our selling partners, end-to-end and drive a product redesign in 2024. This person will also be a key contributor in the development of new product features to create and deliver high-quality communications to our Selling Partners across other channels and will be responsible for defining customer and product requirements, owning product roadmap, and refining product specs. The role requires regular engagement with, and the ability to influence, a wide array of stakeholders, including the broader SPS org and business teams across Amazon. The ideal candidate has customer-facing product management experience and can move through layers of complexity with ease, from details to vision, to drive product development. Excellent communication skills, bias for action with clear prioritization and an ability to thrive in ambiguity are required. The ability to put yourself in a seller’s shoes and advocate for the seller experience is essential to success.
Key job responsibilities
Understanding customer (internal and external) needs, defining clear project plans and executing to high expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Defining a data-driven product vision, developing business cases and requirements, and prioritizing competing opportunities
Partnering with other functional teams across Communities and Seller org to identify and influence development of new products and services
Interacting with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple locations, and working with business, marketing, UX, tech and analytics teams to define and deliver solutions.
Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs versus technical or operational constraints.
Drive execution of product roadmap, GTM and consumer adoption by partnering with internal stakeholders.
Making smart tradeoffs, coordinate dependencies, and maintain communication throughout the organization to guarantee smooth and efficient product delivery.
About the team
The Selling Partner Communities and Empowerment (‘Communities’) organization builds lasting connections with, and drives the success of our Selling Partners (‘SP’). Our products such as news, forums are currently used by millions of Selling Partners worldwide to engage with Amazon and foster an active and inclusive community and information exchange among SPs. These products also provide valuable insights into Selling Partner sentiment and issues. We are currently reimaging how to enable our SPs to engage with other sellers, form Communities, and interact with Amazon.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience as a product manager or owner
Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
