Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Snowflake Snowpark Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions for snowpark management and optimization. As a Snowflake Snowpark Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining software systems that enhance the efficiency, safety, and overall experience of snowpark operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for snowpark management software.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions using Snowflake Snowpark, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
  3. Implement data ingestion pipelines, processing and transformation logic, and data storage mechanisms for handling large volumes of snowpark-related data.
  4. Develop APIs and interfaces for integrating with third-party systems, such as ticketing systems, equipment sensors, and weather forecasting services.
  5. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of snowpark software applications.
  6. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  7. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to continuously improve software quality and development processes.
  8. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to snowpark management, skiing/snowboarding, and outdoor recreation.
  9. Participate in agile software development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
  10. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues and ensure the smooth operation of snowpark software systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in software development, with a focus on data engineering, cloud computing, and distributed systems.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Experience with Snowflake Snowpark, Snowflake Data Cloud, or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and SQL query optimization.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for winter sports, outdoor recreation, and/or the ski/snowboard industry is a plus.
