Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Snowflake Snowpark Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions for snowpark management and optimization. As a Snowflake Snowpark Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining software systems that enhance the efficiency, safety, and overall experience of snowpark operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for snowpark management software.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions using Snowflake Snowpark, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
- Implement data ingestion pipelines, processing and transformation logic, and data storage mechanisms for handling large volumes of snowpark-related data.
- Develop APIs and interfaces for integrating with third-party systems, such as ticketing systems, equipment sensors, and weather forecasting services.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of snowpark software applications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to continuously improve software quality and development processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to snowpark management, skiing/snowboarding, and outdoor recreation.
- Participate in agile software development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues and ensure the smooth operation of snowpark software systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in software development, with a focus on data engineering, cloud computing, and distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
- Experience with Snowflake Snowpark, Snowflake Data Cloud, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for winter sports, outdoor recreation, and/or the ski/snowboard industry is a plus.
