X-Therma, a venture backed biotech company pioneers ground-breaking cold chain technology via a convergent bio preservation platform, to advance Regenerative Medicine and make available safe and on-demand organs, engineered tissues, and cell & gene therapies to patients in need. X-Therma technology greatly improves cold-chain logistics and is an FDA Breakthrough Device to end the organ waiting list in a long-overlooked market. This is a paradigm shift that could make worldwide organ sharing possible and eliminate organ discard. Immediately, the technology could resolve current bottlenecks in Regenerative Medicine biomanufacturing and processing and allow “off-the-shelf" living medicines in this hyper-growth space.

To strengthen our growing team in Hercules, we are looking for an Inside Sales Manager to support the commercialization efforts on the West Coast. The Inside Sales Manager focuses on customer acquisition. This position is responsible for searching for potential new client leads and reaching out to relevant prospects to bring new business opportunities.

What you will do:
Customer Acquisition
- Research leads and identify relevant prospects through various systems and data pools
- Generate and pre-qualify new leads by using appropriate company resources, programs, and tools
- Approach relevant prospects and generate interest via e-mail or phone call to create new business opportunities
- Develop pre and post conference follow ups
- Support the generation of new business development and achieving company targets and expectations
- Schedule appointments, attend and/or present at various meetings as needed
- Prepare and lead early engagement presentations with clients to facilitate RFPs
Marketing
- Follow up on Marketing leads generated from the website (x-therma.com), webinars, and inbound customer inquiries for conversion of leads to business closure
- Support the development of targeted email campaigns and newsletter distribution in line with the strategic company targets
- Develop marketing campaigns using the company CRM
Reporting
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Update OKR’s and provide feedback about customer perception of X-Therma products.
- Prepare sales budget and monitor expenses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Ensure follow-up by collaborating with commercial team members on all necessary calls-to-action, dates, profile information etc.
- Communicate and collaborate on sales and marketing strategies with the manufacturing, operation and quality teams and encourage cross-functional development
- Coordinate with manufacturing and operations on the delivery of products and keep customers informed about it
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent; Scientific or Business-related background
- Advanced degree in STEM is preferred but not required
- 2+ years of experience working in an Inside Sales position in a biotech, biopharma, medical device, contract manufacturing organizations or other healthcare related organizations
- Experience in developing new business, lead nurturing and qualification, prospecting, and appointment setting
- Good understanding of pre-clinical development, Phase I-IV clinical development, and commercial applications
- In-depth knowledge with cloud-based CRM and sales automation tools with at least 1+ years of hands-on experience with Sales and/or Service Cloud.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present information on calls and via email.
- Strong data management skills
- Experience translating user requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive and determination to succeed as well as meet and exceed targets
- Must be adaptable, professional, and motivated
- Ability to listen and identify pain points and customer challenges
- Ability to work under pressure, stay organized, multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and attend to administrative details in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain effective internal and external relationships
- Strong time management skills: ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
- Available to travel up to 25-35%
- Mandarin speaking is a plus
