Quality Inspector - Tulsa, OK

Temp to Hire | Pay: $18-20+

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Required Experience:

Minimum of one year experience in quality department. 

Be able to use all measuring tools and able to read and decipher information in all prints. 

Be able to read GD&T prints and perform manual measurements. 

Knowledge of AS9100 Quality System, AS9102 FAI paperwork, and First Article Inspection.

MUST HAVE First Articles and GD&T

Education:

Must have high school diploma or GED. 

Must be able to demonstrate general math skills.

Responsibilities:

High attention to detail is a must.

Able to move items weighing 50lbs. without assistance on a routine basis.

Assist other departments when necessary.

Maintain a safe work environment.

Can reliably clock in and out of Work Orders with accurate information.

This position is a safety sensitive position and is responsible for the operation of a motor vehicle, other vehicle, equipment, machinery or power tools.

Quality Inspector I

Perform visual inspections for in-process and completed parts.

Verify part to print accuracy for shipping and receiving.

Utilize ERP system (Info Visual).

Perform routine work in-process inspections.

Complete First Article Inspections.

* Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
* Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
* Write test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed repairs.
* Read dials or meters to verify that equipment is functioning at specified levels.
* Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.
* Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.
