Job Description:

You'll play a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and testing data solutions to support our advanced analytics and data processing needs. You'll work closely with a talented team to create extracts, integrations, and migrations of data to ensure effective data retrieval for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and test data solutions for new and existing databases.
Work with cutting-edge technologies in the data field to support advanced analytics and data processing capabilities.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient data mapping and transformation, extraction, and loading processes.
Essential Duties and Qualifications:

Development:

Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database management.
Experience in creating and modifying SQL queries for data retrieval.
Proficiency with tools like PLSQL Developer, SQL Plus, SQL Navigator, and AWS Glue.
Strong research skills to manage complex data requests effectively.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Migration experience preferred.
High evaluative and interpretative skills.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven work experience as a Data Engineer, Database Developer, or similar role.
Experience with database-backed web applications.
Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with data manipulation languages and principles of database design.
Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications.
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
Outstanding problem solver.
Preferences:

Experience with structured and unstructured data.
Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of columnar databases.
Experience with Salesforce, AWS Redshift, and Snowflake.
