Our CGC Toledo location is currently seeking a Customer Service Rep to join our team. This position’s essential functions:
Excellent written and oral communication with customers, sales reps, plant personnel, freight handlers, by a variety of methods in a positive, energetic and consistent professional manner.
Create and maintain price, delivery quotations and customer orders in the company’s internal database, with completeness and accuracy.
Expedite the order process and respond to customer requests such as price quotations, and order status updates, even if under stress or deadlines.
Screen order to ensure accuracy, completion and basic technical requirements, and confirm received orders by customers in a timely manner.
Resolve technical problems through application of own knowledge, or by transferring issues to a technical specialist.
Maintain all customer related records, and specifications in a quality management database.
Skills such as the ability to problem solve quickly under pressure, a functional knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and products such as Word and Excel, and general computer software understanding are also required for this position.
