The purpose of this role is to program and qualify measurement systems within the CPNA
Analytical Services and CPNA Quality departments.

• Accurately read and interpret product drawings to determine specification and
measurement locations.
• Program metrology equipment for molds during production and/or mold qualification for
both Analytical Services and manufacturing sites.
• Provide programming technical support and troubleshoot programs of metrology
equipment for Analytical services and manufacturing sites.
• Travel to and assist manufacturing sites, as necessary in areas of programming or
equipment support.
• Train laboratory personnel, both in Analytical Services and manufacturing sites, in
programming and proper measurement techniques.
• Perform Measurement System Analysis, including Gage R&R and Correlation Studies.
• Provide support to CPNA Analytical Services Quality Engineers.
• Conduct all job duties in accordance with the company’s published policies.

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent quality experience required. Closely related
industrial experience may be substituted for degree relevance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with proven ability to complete multiple
tasks simultaneously.

• Programming experience of metrology equipment preferred. Computer programming
experience may be considered. Metrology equipment includes, but not limited to: OGP
vision system, Keyence IM, ABVIS, and PC-DMIS/CMM.
• Computer skills—Minitab, Excel, Word, and IBM Notes
• Experience in Measurement Systems Analysis and Gauge Repeatability and
Reproducibility (GRR).
• Experience in plastic processing required; injection molding, thermoforming and/or blow
molding preferred.
• ISO 9001/2000 experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers or vendors in a professional manner.
• Ability to travel required, up to 33% annually.
