Job Summary

The Senior Union Payroll Analyst will be responsible for the overall processing of payroll, serving as the back-up to the Payroll Manager.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall processing of payroll:
• Creating tickets with ADP to run Payroll.
• Submitting SSLs for manual entries (all).
• Reviewing/distributing errors reports and carrying out corrections.
• Monitor/reconcile incoming interfaces (Kronos/401k, etc.).
• Manage assigned locations for manual entries/corrections:
• Update Costing in HCM/ADP GV.
• Update manual entries for terms, new hires in SSL.
• Update union information (dues, insurance, misc. deductions) in SSL.
• Update recurring pay elements as sent by HR or locations (car allowance, cleaning, etc.) in SSL.
• Manage off-cycle process through ADP.
• Serve as back-up for Payroll Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience working in Payroll - must include:

• 5+ years working with Kronos, including system administration & set-up.
• 5+ years working Payroll Taxes, including quarter & year-end reporting.
• 5+ years Union Payroll Experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field strongly preferred.
• Three or more years working in a supervisory capacity in a Payroll setting.
• Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis.
• Highly organized; superior time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
• Self-motivated; self-starter.
• Work well with all levels of the corporation.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, stoop, bend, and kneel
• Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.
• Long periods spent sitting at desk in front of computer screen.
• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
