Job description
St. Andrew Classical Catholic School is an expanding PreK-12th grade WCEA Accredited community in the heart of the rockies amidst the beauty of Montana. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Helena, MT for an English Teacher at St. Andrew School, a classical Catholic community. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students and creating lesson plans to help develop the students' reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. They may also be responsible for curriculum development and meeting with parents, as well as participating in faculty meetings and professional development activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English or Education or a related field Teaching certification or licensure (if applicable) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with other educators, parents and students Knowledge of teaching best practices and innovative teaching techniques Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and administrators Experience working with students in a classroom environment is preferred but not required
