The Desktop Administrator provides support for complex desktop hardware, operating systems and applications, installation, and modification tickets and requests.
Responsibilities: - First escalation point for customer end user desktop incidents and requests that cannot be resolved by a member of the Service Desk team
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including customer end user desktops and laptops, printers, and common off-the-shelf application problems.
- Assist with account management services – User Account creates/disables/ terminations/name changes, as needed
Qualifications - Proficient technical support skills with macOS and Windows required
- 4 years of technical helpdesk or desktop support experience required
- Proficient with Active Directory user and group maintenance
- Proficient with O365/Exchange Mailboxes, Distribution Lists, etc
- Experience with remote support tools such as Kaseya, Ivanti or Bomgar
- Experience with Mobile Device Management systems and endpoint security tools, such as VMWare Workspace One or Intune
- Capable of supporting teleconferencing system issues, such as WebEx and MS Teams
- VPN and remote dial in users
- Multi-Factor Authentication, soft tokens
