JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Assessment and Accreditation is responsible for supporting the continuing AACSB accreditation efforts in the Opus College of Business, including the coordination of its assessment and assurance of learning processes. The Director provides research, analysis, and assistance to the Associate Dean for Faculty Excellence on all accreditation-related activities of the college. The Director is also responsible for the design, production, and administration for all AACSB-related reports. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Development and implementation of an accreditation strategy focused on efficiency and effectiveness. Provide project management for the accreditation process including identifying and tracking project milestones and setting timelines.
• Manage the administrative process for the Assurance of Learning (AOL), including working with faculty committees, departments, programs, and other faculty groups in the coordination and implementation of the AOL plan; ensuring that the college maintains necessary documentation to demonstrate complete cycles of assessment, feedback and closing the loop actions; and preparing necessary college level reports on AOL activities.
• Managing the team responsible for the development and fulfillment of all AACSB and other OCB annual and periodic reporting requirements for maintenance of AACSB accreditation. Working with academic departments, programs, and centers to prepare internal reports on an annual and periodic basis on the status of college activities related to faculty, research, and academic programs. 
• Supervision of the AACSB/Assurance of Learning Coordinator position
• Maintain expertise in all AACSB accreditation standards and interpretations of requirements for those standards. Advise college leadership of issues and suggest changes in processes and practices. Serve as the liaison between the college and AASCB.
• Managing and interpreting data. Participates in course scheduling and performs analysis of the course schedule, faculty utilization, and key performance metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
• Seven years of program administration experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters level in business administration or a related field
• Candidates with experience in university-level assessment
• Experience with project management in a business school
• Experience in AACSB assessment and administration
