This role supports the Akron Billing Center in Fairlawn, OH.



Candidates should live a commutable distance to the billing center as it's required to go on-site one day a month.



JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:


The Payment Processing Representative provides overall support and preparation of documents for the Payment Posting (Patient Accounts) team. The representative is responsible for downloading bank reports, downloading and preparing mail and correspondence batches, scanning live checks, processing credit cards payments, downloading payer remittance advices from websites and calling carriers to obtain missing remittance advices.

Productivity standards and month-end closing schedules may create a stressful environment.


This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, and fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
