The group is well-established and transitioning can be seamless. Valley Baptist Medical Center Brownsville has a robust Clinical Research Department available for any proposed research if desired. Additionally, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is located in the area and is open to community providers participating in teaching opportunities in the academic setting.
