Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Enterprise Data Solutions Architect opportunity available based in Doral, FL. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
SOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) is working to deliver and operationalize information technology (IT) services for all US SOUTHCOM combatant command constructed networks. These constructed networks span the US SOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Work performed under this Task Order directly provides US SOUTHCOM a defensible, secure, modern, and efficient IT infrastructure across all combatant command constructed networks.
This position supports SOUTHCOM's transformative move to a Zero Trust Architecture in alignment with the DoD Zero Trust Strategy and Executive Order (EO) 14028.
ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES - The Enterprise Data Solutions Architect will help design and develop architecture strategies for the customer's cyber security modernization program. Will help in driving Zero Trust Architecture Strategy & Deployment, a Transition to IPv6, Technical Debt Reduction, and Normalization of the Terrain across the organization and 18 networks.
- Develop and implement the enterprise data strategy that aligns with customer and the Department of Defense (DOD) vision for data management, including Enterprise Service Bus data model designs and best practice methods for using, analyzing, and storing data, including developing domain Specific Data Models.
- Design and implement the enterprise data management platform, including a data lake architecture, data analytics, machine language, artificial intelligence, data visualization, and data interoperability and integration for internal and external data feeds and sources, data storage solutions, including robust Big Data Tools solutions for the command.
- Implement/maintain a data governance framework, including data access policies, API gateway management, and data standards using security Zero Trust Data Security principles.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system.
- Develop and maintain data management and governance standards, policies, and best practices, including metadata management, data quality management, master data management, data lineage, and other related areas.
- Provide/Support Cloud Solution Architecture
Required QUALIFICATIONS - Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- 10+ years’ experience of large Enterprise Architecture design, preferably within a DoD/Military or other State or Federal government environment.
- ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF, CompTIA Security Plus, Information Assurance Technical (IAT) – III Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS - In some occasions, overnight travel may be required.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.
Office setting:
- Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
- Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
- May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
