Job description
The Hybrid (in office Monday -Tuesday and Wednesday) Content Marketing Manager is an enterprising brand creative lead who has phenomenal vision and a knack for creative concepts and action-driven marketing copy. In this role, you’ll incubate and generate original ideas and storytelling across our nearly 20 travel brands to help drive brand awareness, revenue, and customer retention.
The Content Marketing Manager will oversee the development of our brands’ tone of voice. This person will translate creative briefs to guide successful promotional copywriting which aligns flawlessly with our demand generation, social media, and SEO efforts.
To be successful in this role, the Content Marketing Manager must be an astute visionary, savvy copy architect, confident decision-maker, digital pro, and thoughtful collaborator. This creative lead reports to the Publishing Director, but day-to-day will work lock-step with designers, brand management, social media, digital marketing, and other key internal stakeholders, serving as the conduit between content, brand strategy, and the creative studio.What You'll Bring
Drives the execution of creative concepts and copywriting through multiple integrated channels including email, web, social media, video and other customer-focused deliverables for our nearly 20 global brands
Ideates and delivers creative concepts with innovative and emotive messaging that inspires customer action, engagement, and loyalty
Safeguards the integrity of our various global brands throughout marketing campaigns and creative ideas in a way that maintains each one’s distinct positioning and verbal identity
Identifies our brands’ verbal identities and ensures the tone of voice for all branded channels and materials are consistent with what’s set by content strategies Assists with creative and innovative messaging for enterprise pitch decks with various concepts
Engages key stakeholders to guarantee alignment around key customer initiatives and collaborates with designers, brand managers, and other partners to deliver strong copy that meets our strategic and tactical goals.
Maps and delivers verbal identities and campaign messaging for programs, products, and company initiatives or affiliations
Develops verbal identities that distinguish our brands in the market, adapting to needs across media and creating brand voice for consistency in messaging across platforms
Orchestrates verbal identities and key message documents and guides copywriting best practices in order to deliver the best marketing content solutions which align with business strategies and objectives
Effectively communicates and presents concepts and other messaging projects to various internal and external audiences
Leverages customer data and analytics to create audience personas and guide creative brainstorms and marketing positioning
Motivates other creative studio members in a way that fosters innovative concepts and keeps the evolving and expanding digital space top of mind Requirements and Qualifications
How You'll Shine
BA in Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communications
Expert knowledge and understanding of content execution within social media, web, digital, and traditional platforms
Knowledge of brand positioning and architecture as well as integrated content marketing
Ability to interpret briefs and communications plans to construct creative concepts aligned to the strategic direction set by the department
Understanding of branding practices and structure
Organizational skills that include ability to confidently and gracefully prioritize multiple projects under time constraints
Passionate attitude with willingness and enthusiasm to own your own growthTechnical Skills
Expert knowledge of digital content space, Associated Press style, social media strategies, and integrated marketing
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Apple programs, Microsoft Office Suite Experience in the implementation of brand architecture including voice and tone as well as website publishing, UX, QA, SEO, and metadata
7+ years leadership experience in media, publishing, brand, creative agency, or an in-house agency
Prior experience within travel & hospitality a plus
