Job description

We are currently recruiting for the position of High School Math Teacher for the 2024–2025 school year.

Committed to fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and a dedication to lifelong learning, KYHS is seeking a passionate and experienced Math Teacher who can bring creativity and innovation to math education. The successful candidate not only has a strong background in mathematics, but is also committed to cultivating a collaborative and supportive classroom culture that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical exploration. 

Candidates should have a degree in Math, Education, or a related field, should possess substantial experience in designing and delivering Math curriculum, and should have a comprehensive knowledge of discipline-specific curriculum and instruction methods. Preference will be given to individuals with strong organizational and communication skills, a demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, well-developed classroom management skills, and proven success in teaching high school math with a track record of student achievement.

Duties & Responsibilities

Compensation and benefits range between 60,000-80,000 and are commensurate with qualifications.
