InfraHire is looking for Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Columbia, MD
The ideal candidate should have proven capabilities in all design phases, experience leading the development of Construction and Permit Documents, and experience performing Construction Administration services. In addition, the applicant should have the following attributes:
Applicant should be:

- Capable of managing multiple projects, organizing workflow, and delegating tasks to others
- Capable of clearly communicating design concepts visually, in written text, and verbally to clients
- Adept in fostering and maintaining relationships with clients and consultants
- Of entrepreneurial mindset
- Capable of mentoring and leading teams
- Supportive of other engineers or project managers
- Capable of directing CAD designers and other engineers in the preparation of construction drawings
- Willing to supervise the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members
- Able to interpret applicable codes
Applicant minimum requirements:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology
- P.E. License (preferred)
- 7-10+ years of experience working in an A/E or MEP firm
- Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit capabilities required
- Provide own transportation to local project sites
- Must be Legal to work in the U.S.
