Bookkeeper
Our client, a dynamic multi-location services company, is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team.
Responsibilities: - Financial Management: Handle the processing of 400 checks and the generation of 2000 invoices per month, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Sales and Use Tax Expertise: Utilize your background in sales and use tax to ensure compliance and optimize tax-related processes.
- HR and Benefits: Manage open enrollment, HR onboarding, and termination paperwork, liaising with outsourced payroll and benefits providers.
- Multi-location Oversight: Oversee operations at the company's nine locations, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- External CPA Firm Liaison: Serve as a liaison with the external CPA firm to facilitate financial reporting and compliance.
- Supervise 2 accounting assistants.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in bookkeeping, office management, and sales and use tax.
- Strong financial management skills, including experience with high check and invoice volumes.
- HR and benefits administration knowledge is preferred.
- Concur and Avalara Tax Software areĀ preferred.
- QuickBooks is a must.
