Job Description
Follows project, agency and product specifications to determine and maintain quality and reliability of concrete, cement, asphalt, and aggregate. Assists in concrete lab trials for mix design development. Tests compressive strength of concrete lab and field samples. Tests aggregate gradation and other characteristics for compliance. Tests asphalt mixes for adherence to mix design and specifications. Tests cement samples for supplier conformance and analysis. Records, evaluates and analyzes data associated with tests, communicates results. Familiarity to testing methods, including American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Department of Transportation (DOT). Inspects product at job sites and tests material in the field as needed, records results, and compares test results to verify accuracy of measurements. Strives to meet customer expectations without exception. Maintains excellent customer communications regarding product conformity at requirements. Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.

· Product knowledge and experience
· Excellent skills in collecting and organizing data, project management, writing technical reports and presentations

· Ability to contribute cooperation and teamwork within the laboratory team
