***The Compensation range for this position is approximately $90,000 - $118,650 based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education***

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Works closely with management and business leaders to create the program scope, objectives, and risk assessment.
- Manages and facilitates execution and operating mechanisms coordinated with business cadence.
- Manages program kick-off, cross-functional core team meetings, complexity assessment, scope/change management, risk management, integrated program planning/execution, and communication.
- Works closely with product marketing to finalize and document customer and product requirements.
- Directs and coordinates activities of the core cross-functional team to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within budget while meeting established system requirements.
- Confers with project team leaders to develop plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Reviews status reports prepared by project team leaders and combines information into a program status report to present and/or submit to management and others.
- Confers with program personnel to provide technical advice and problem resolution.
- Prepares and or facilitates development of program objectives, milestones, meeting minutes, risk assessment meetings, escalation meetings, design reviews, and design changes.
- Works on process improvement initiatives related to New Product Development (NPD) or Cost Reduction processes.
- Works with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, supplier development engineers (SDE), and external partners (suppliers/vendors) with project execution.
- Travel up to 30% to start for building relationships and network with Division and Factory Engineering and Operations teams.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- BS degree, Engineering discipline preferred with 5 plus years of related experience. MBA, additional project management training or PMP certification a plus.
- Experience leading one or more complex development projects.
- Experience working with product development and cost reduction processes.
- Experience working with virtual and offshore teams preferred.
- Experience with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration) systems preferred.
- Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive program specific issues and goals to closure.
- Ability to integrate business, marketing, and technical elements.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter who is proactive, accountable, engaged and takes initiative.
- Able to function in a team environment and ability to successfully negotiate and build consensus.
- Takes responsibility for project execution and drives projects to successful completion.
- Skilled at problem solving, developing alternatives, and presenting recommendations.
- Proficient at defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Ability to develop detailed project schedules and perform cross functional risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management.
- Good understanding of consumer products, software, and hardware development preferred.
- Experience with project management software a plus.
