Job description
The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of The John Cooper School by strategizing and executing initiatives that drive enrollment and retention. This position demands a unique blend of analytical prowess and interpersonal skills, aimed at fostering a vibrant school community and achieving our enrollment goals. The ideal candidate will be adept in balancing administrative duties with a hands-on approach to engaging with families and students. Specific duties will include overseeing admission testing for all applicants, interviewing prospective students, assisting with admission events, and general support for all admission initiatives and activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide admission support, ensuring that prospective and returning families experience superior and seamless service, ultimately leading to growth and loyalty to the school.
- Provide superior customer service, maintain a friendly and helpful atmosphere for applicants, students, faculty and families.
- Assist with the scheduling and protocol for administering the Independent School Entrance Exam or ISEE and inputting scores for applicants for Grades 5-12 on campus, and elsewhere, several times throughout the year.
- Assist with the scheduling and protocol for administering student observations for applicants to PK-Grade 5.
- Interview a group of applicants to Grades 6-12, followed by the writing of a detailed summary of the interview.
- Assist with the development and execution of admission events throughout the
- Monitor and measure admission activity with the objective of increasing the number of incoming leads, student enrollment, and family retention rates.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree,
- 3 to 5 years of Independent school experience
