Position: 1st Shift: 7:00am -3:30pm M-F
Sander Operator
Summary/Objective The Sander Operator is required to understand the operation, general maintenance, and safety features of the sander. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Inspects the veneer panels for specification conformance. Must be able to meet and maintain acceptable production levels. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Completes the necessary production forms. Understands lockout-tagout safety procedure. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up and operation. Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
