Position Overview: Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Join our team as a Mortgage Loan Originator! This fully remote role focuses on driving mortgage lending in western Oakland and Washtenaw counties.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional service to members, prospective members, builders, developers, and real estate agents.
- Conduct pre-qualification interviews and prepare loan application packages.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, secondary market guidelines, and company policies.
- Utilize consultative phone selling techniques and effective follow-up strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain external referral sources to generate business opportunities.
- Collaborate with branch teams to increase referrals and drive mortgage loan growth.
- Provide timely communication and follow-up throughout the loan process.

Requirements:

- Strong focus on member satisfaction and building relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated sales ability and persuasive communication skills.
- Commitment to integrity, authenticity, and continuous self-development.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of mortgage origination experience preferred.
- Familiarity with mortgage lending regulations and processes.
- Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) licensure preferred.

Working Conditions:

- Office and remote work environment.
