Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Impact Manager assists with donor relations and reporting activities for overall impact. These efforts are intended to foster meaningful and lasting relationships between the Cornerstone Foundation and its expanding donor base, inspire ongoing philanthropic support, and create positive promotion of the credit union movement.

Candidate will be required travel by plane or auto up to 25% of the time and located in the the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Request and implement database queries to prepare Development & Executive Directors for key donor and stakeholder meetings and develop and maintain prospect profiles.
  2. Provide timely and accurate reports on gifts, pledges, progress towards fundraising goals, tracking of CIF maturities and lapsed donors, and other financial data as needed.
  3. Utilize database and reporting tools to capture, retrieve, calculate, and report data, and manage fundraising lists so linkages can be made, and donor history is properly maintained.
  4. If needed, assist Development Director in the planning, development, coordination, and execution of fundraising events and activities, including managing volunteers and event committees.
  5. Maintain engagement and financial wellness databases.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to maintain a clear snapshot of credit unions' financial wellness efforts and needs.
  7. Work with Program Director to ensure the proper reporting of awarded Community Development grant funds.
  8. Ensures the Foundation's mission is conveyed through grant dollars:
    1. Maintains ongoing relationship with grantees
    2. Distributes approved grant dollars
    3. Communicates impact of all grant programs
  1. Communicate impact of all Foundation initiatives/activities:
    1. Events
    2. Financial Wellness programs
    3. Grants
    4. SCMS Scholarships
    5. Donor Advised Funds
    6. Partnerships
  2. Assists and/or manages special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with some college courses in business, accounting, or a related field.

Experience Required:

Three to five years of credit union, non-profit association, or foundation experience preferred.
