job summary:
A Material Planning and Control Coordinator is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Dubuque, IA area. This role involves coordinating material flow and inventory management within a factory department, ensuring production schedules are met through effective communication, problem-solving, and utilization of production systems principles.

salary: $17.25 - 18.91 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Coordinates department schedule performance for procuring and expediting movement of rejected material to source.
- Recommends procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and management.
- Investigates root cause of material shortages and provides recommendations for solutions.
- Utilizes Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
- Processes transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
- Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy, may create replenishment plans.
- Counts and resolves inventory errors, expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Works critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.
Skills:
- Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Vlookups, and other common formulas.
Education and Experience;
- Bachelor's degree preferred, relevant work experience considered.
- Degrees in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or Mathematics preferred.
