The Dentist Anesthesiologist, with the Pediatric Dentistry Program Director, participates in the operation of the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program through oversight and training of residents and in the delivery of pediatric dental services in the out-patient clinics, hospital in-patient care, and operating room treatment; by providing direct patient care; and by coordinating and providing lectures, seminars, and clinical demonstrations to residents. D.M.D./D.D.S. or equivalent professional degree.
EXPERIENCE
Dental Anesthesia Residency training with experience including intravenous and general anesthesia performed in pediatric patients as staff in a hospital or dental school program.
LICENSURE
D.M.D./D.D.S. or equivalent professional degree. DMD/DDS or equivalent degree. Must have completed an accredited post-doctoral training in Dental Anesthesia. Must have one or both Dental Anesthesia Board certifications: National Board of Dental Anesthesia or American Board of Dental Anesthesia or be able to complete within one year of hire. Must have experience managing airway for pediatric patients

Excellent communications, interpersonal, coordinative, problem solving, and organizational skills. Team work, open mindedness, accountability and leadership characteristics are expected at all times. Eligible for CT Dental Anesthesia Permit
